Happy Wednesday folks! My dad and Hubby have just headed to the station so my dad can get his train back down home. I'm staying home because....see picture! (BTW Hubby texted me to say they got to the station OK although the travel was Not Fun but they're OK)

Hubby, Dad & I went out for a lovely walk in the sunshine after lunch (while we had sunshine!). First time I've had a proper time outside in the fresh air in a couple of days because of work, and it was nice. We went on one of our fave loops out into the nearby countryside.

My neighbour's 7yo son has got really into birdwatching (probably my fault introducting him to the Merlin app 😁) so I dug out these pics from 2021 of a sparrowhawk(!) landing in our garden and catching a blackbird. Don't think I've posted them here before.

I didn't know there was a US version of Blockbusters! *Quickly Googles* Ah, our version *was* based on yours; ours started in 1983 and led to a joke that's still with us GenXers to this day 😀

Sending you massive hugs and so much love, my friend. I hope this pic of a swan family in Lymington I saw in June helps. The baby hitching a lift on the parent's back always makes me 😍
