About a year ago I had a couple.of gift cards that would let me nab a couple of Jackie Chan flicks. Loved his American stuff growing up and always wanted to check out his HK classics.

So I've been slowly but surely watching a ton of martial arts flicks, and holy shit Twilight of the Warriors is one of the wildest movies I've ever seen. My jaw was on the floor for like half the movie.

I have to get this off my chest: I DESPISE the late series TNG/VOY uniforms. having the only color be on the shoulders makes every character look like they're being played by a floating renaissance bust. particularly on darker sets like DS9 or VOY. Look at these absolute monstrosities:

Seeing Hangman's descent into alcoholism, and subsequent recovery with the assistance of the Dark Order made me realize just how nuanced and cathartic the storytelling in wrestling can be. Adam Page has the best story in wrestling and I will always be there for it.

I feel like NJPW fans never talk about Taichi. The dude has one of the silliest gimmicks in the company but when pushed, will kick your face into the back row (dude was trained by freakin KAWADA). I think about his G1 30 match with Ibushi at at least once a month. Also. Tearaway pants.
