Yesterday a “small” addition to my board game collection arrived: Giant Takenoko.

Is it that big? Yes, it is obscenely big 🤣 But that’s what makes it so much more fun to play.

I started using Journal at the start of the year and I do agree that an iPad or Mac app would be amazing. It’s one thing that made me stop using it 😅

Also an easier way to browse your entries would be nice.

I realized that my profile picture was over 3 years old. Time for an update 😎

It’s the first time I use Inertia and the first time in *check notes* 3 years that I touch React. So don’t expect good client code from the backend engineer that I am.

But here’s the code for my prototype for an app to create ephemeral e2ee notes shareable by link.

I got something kinda working. Inertia means the server handles every request, thus I can’t have the password passed in the url. For now I have a hard coded password to create and derive a key.

I channelled all my 90s energy into the design tho.

Ran 10km today.

It’s been at least 5 years since I last ran regularly. I use to run a lot at that time. Maybe I’ll manage to get back to that shape.

But hey, I manage to go from couch potato to running 10km in about 3 months. So, that’s a win!

Here’s the rest of the board game collections for those who are interested in these things.

Here’s my (small) cozy office.

It’s a forever work in progress.

I also had more plants on my shelves but my cats ate some of them 😅

As share on Pinkary, this is not secure nor private. The encryption and decryption are happening on the server. Meaning the message can be read by anything that can read the request (Sentry, Nightwatch, ...).

The copy of the site give people of false sense of safety due to being miss-leading.
