We know that ice magic runs in her family, but to have a spell so diabolically overpowered deep inside her really makes you wonder if Carol's relentlessly strict parenting and fear FORCED a seed of darkness (Snowgrave) to grow inside her contrasting her desire to help her ill dad (healing magic).

Noelle, on the other hand has a questionable and lethal ice spell, Snowgrave, to fatally injure her enemies. She can't even use it unless the player goes to enormous lengths & various hoops to put the story off the main path.
