I've had to avoid political news as much as possible because I have bad anxiety and OCD from worrying about politics, and AB/DL has been a nice comfort in these times. But now even that's going away, so this situation has been an impending nightmare ever since I learned about it.

This terrifies me and it should terrify you regardless of your sexual interests. The foundations of anonymity that have shaped the internet are being disintegrated in real time, and anybody who stands in the way is labeled a predator.

Plus, with ageplay being considered pretty taboo even among the general kink community, I think it's very likely that some dumbass lawmakers are gonna make it their next scapegoat. And if that happens, they already have your government ID linked to your porn habits.

It was nice to interact with the AB/DL community here while it lasted, but having my face linked to this side of me has been my worst fear for the longest time and I have next to no faith that these verification systems will be secure or confidential.
