I think this is the quintessential trading card. Its a picture of a rat with a magic knife, it puts cards in the graveyard, its worth 3 cent. Genuinely flawless.

Started reading Al Ewing's Immortal Hulk on a whim and sped through 25 issues in 2 days. Not even a hulk guy but this is one of the most consistent runs I've read of anything.

Kingdom Come - possibly the best art I've ever seen in a comic book. Really suits how the story presents superheroes as if they are a pantheon of old gods.
All-Star Superman - wish I had read this earlier. Really nails why the character is likeable despite being 'overpowered'

finally some good news
Finally read secret wars 2015 because it intersected with the thor storyline. I usually dont like most crossover events because its often just an aura farming competition, but this was fun. I really like Esad Ribic's Thor art, so it was nice to see that same style used here.
