I was wondering why old timey Hot Rodders liked LaSalle transmissions? Were they sturdier than the others? Did they have better ratios?

Things to do on the day after your 65th birthday: snow blow the driveway and sidewalk. Have a scare when a big stick in the augers temporarily stops things dead.

Today is my 65th birthday!

Photo of a X-Cor rocket racer taken on the way to the '08 NARAM. So why did X-Cor fail after it was supposed to be the next big thingie?

Now that it's almost 50 years after the Chinon 506SMXL, I've actually sit down and I'm wondering if it's Super 8, Super8, or Super-8.

Also, four alpha bitches can bite my profane posterior over the that white elephant and broken dream....

Here's a revised InterSteller OverDrive lunchbox art. I thought the previous version looked a little bland and unfinished.

One off lunchbox art for Sci-Fi Guy!

1/2 I just signed up for that BBC Maestro Alan Moore story telling course. This autistc right brainer may be well over my head and out of my league. But I'm going to be like a couple model rocket guys that I saw had like a 2/3 failure rate but were enjoying themselves to no end.

Astro-Cam screen dump of the housing development west of the current sod farm. I have no idea what it's called.

And another lunchbox work in progress....

More stickers for a one-off unicorn lunchbox for my own personal amusement....

Also a couple pieces of '93 art, one that was best that year that didn't have Flexia standing by a double-ended Champion.

Working up stickers for an InterStellar OverDrive lunchbox.

Meanwhile, back on Web 1.0....

An idea that I had this morning that I'm toying with but I'm not sure if I'm going to actually use is that a few years down the road in the InterStellar OverDrive continuity is that Flexia has a fourth child and that Celandine, Revellia and Flexian have another half-sibling.

A couple of today's events reminds me (IIRC) of back in the summer of '97 or 8 when half of the internet was disconnected from the other half when a back-hoe chopped through a cable outside of Vegas.

I was thinking about how phones merged with personals computers but don't really resemble personal computers or phones back then. Then personal computers weren't a whole lot like the IBM 360, DEC PDP, or Univac generations of computers either.

Wondering if the original Muppet Show caught lightning in a bottle? Revivals never clicked quite the same. Original Henson crew were at peak of their form after toiling away for years. Malaise Era people were looking for something novel and fun. Gen Jones and X were the right age to really enjoy it.

I was going through the extras of an Ender printer that was given to a friend that was then given to me. I especially liked the teeny tiny little 1" rubber duck.... :3

I got an insanely great flight on a canard boost glider today. Also a flying wing boost glider flew too well and I lost it. Somebody is probably wonder why they have a little orange toy spaceship in their yard.

Well, today's big news broke, if not killed, quite a few brain cells..... :O

Decals for a model rocket boost glider. It's a canard boost glider with an in-jokey name. Being a Generation Jones child of the '60s-'70s sort of shows through in this, especially the Pony Car era and how it was even sold to us kids who weren't old enough to drive...

Revised Fugly Bugly and Gammie decal sheet.

Working up sketches for a decal mascot for a boost glider named the Odd Duck. It's called that because it's not like my other A3-A10 sized gliders that I've designed. This is also a bit of a nostalgic throwback to my Timber Ridge magazine days. Too bad that didn't work out.
