I'm an art hobbyist who likes to draw cute stuff. My current fave drawing media are oil pastels and crayons, and my fave Pokemon is Pichu because he's cute.
I also recently rekindled a dormant love for markers and modeling clay.
And they wouldn't need high-dollar proprietary software to do it either, as 'Flow' proves, Blender is good enough for full-blown feature-length productions just on its own.

Oh, AAA is on the way to another crash, and rising hardware requirements pricing most people out who still run older or weaker hardware of the industry while most indie games can run on a potato just adds insult to injury.

Something like what I'm suggesting is best handled by an indie studio who's not afraid to say things, and who's also not funded with corporate bucks so there's no external influence in their writing.

Hell, an indie creative team with a set of balls and non-corporate funding could use a concept like this to make direct jabs at YT and the AI slop that platform is trying to peddle.

I mean, I like the idea of a tablet being the villain; in the right hands it can be a good commentary on how letting your kids use iPads or whatever can damage them longterm, but the working phrase is 'in the right hands,' and I'm not sure modern Disney will be able to handle commentary like that.

Personally, I'm sticking to using pen/pencils/crayons/etc. and paper, and stuff like this is a good reason to, that and traditional materials are more fun than digital tools and software to me.
