A really short, but sweet Gun Survivor series experience.
It's a shame that this is the only story "sequel" we get after Dino Crisis 2, but it was a rather curious experience.

You have infinite saves, and even revival kits, unlike in any classic Resident Evil game, I'd argue that it's less punishing overall.
To me it sounds like the classic survival horror didn't really click with you, and Dino Crisis 2 is not even in the same genre.

You're supposed to feel lost and stuck. It's supposed to feel more stressful that you can't accurately tell your health.
First Dino teaches you that handgun is not a weapon against a loose raptor. Shortly after you get a shotgun and anesthetics to put all dinos to sleep (and even death).

While it would be great to have original PS1 fully re-translated with everything included, and the Director's Cut of the PS2 Remake, Life Bottle Productions did it justice by releasing a translation patch.
