I'll have to check this out after work, NGL as someone that has only owned pretty modest cars and does all of their own work and has the goal of a more exotic car soon I am curious to see what fun little challenges come with it.

Both of the synchros are all good, looked everything over with a fine tooth comb. Can't imagine it would happen from a clutch dump, the initial issue occurred during a 1-2 shift

Suboptimal, yes. However, I do now know why the problem was there so it's straightforward from here

Acura does sell the selector still, however it is only sold as an assembly with new synchros so it's about $700. While that is a lot, it is still better than having to source a replacement transmission, so I'll take it.

Thankfully I have emergency funds set away for situations just like this, but nevertheless it's a bit of a tighter squeeze than I care for and it has added so much more stress on top of the holiday season and job hunting, lol

Technically this one is a manual so that makes it much more approachable? I don't know, but I love this car too much
