The rescue I volunteer at is hosting their annual holiday craft fair on small business saturday! Local craft vendors and artists will be selling homemade goods, there's food and snacks, and it all goes to helping the cats! If you're in the area, stop on by, if not, help spread the word!

Soup is a success.
Lentils, onions, garlic, sundried tomatoes, potatoes, chicken better than bouillon, salt & pepper, thyme, oregano, basil, ree pepper flakes, fig & balsamic vinegar shrub, bay leaves, and tomato paste.
Not bad for what I had leftover in the fridge+pantry

Soup is a success.

I also found a neat baking book in the regular free to take home section, and also found a cat book I actually loaned out, because I have to stay on brand. Libraries are neat, y'all

Went to the library to return some books and saw they were doing a banned book event! Everything is wrapped up and free to keep, you unwrap it when you get home. Here's my banned book!

Made a (mostly) vegetarian taco bake. I say mostly vegetarian because I couldn't find vegetarian refried beans so I had to use traditional ones that are typically cooked in animal fat. Still delicious though.

Imagine being the closer in a must win game in a must win series to keep your team's playoff hopes alive and you have to change your freaking shoes while pitching because your cleats broke and then go back to pitching to win the freaking game. God I love sports. You can't script this stuff.
