Oh I get that, but it's more that from what I've encountered of people in general, its that one can't learn those deep truths without the life experience that comes from...well, lacking the deep truths and smashing into proverbial walls.

Yea, but...I get the mentality. I don't think I'd ever have listened to almost any adult at the times I wish I could talk to young me.
But young me would have listened, somewhat, to older me, because it would have been the only person they'd have felt safe enough to truly trust.

Yay for late night ramble thoughts! This has been a fun thread to read. And fun to briefly think on the diff between being a 2018 Uma fan in the 2025 era versus becoming a Gear fan in the 3 years post-XV era.
Still ecstatic I made the XV Live somehow, thanks to COVID of all things buying me time.

There's a rush when you get someone to join your smaller club that isn't there anymore when /everyone loves it/.
So in a weird way I am happy Gear has never truly broken containment in the west. I adore it with every fiber of my being, but I also adore how its...a special little fandom, kinda.

Like, for comparison, I like how Uma has blown up. But something has changed with it no longer being niche, and I kinda miss that.
