My wife and I love beat ‘em ups and action-RPGs. It brings back memories of Golden Axe, Capcom’s D&D games, and Guardian Heroes.
Streets of Rage 4 is probably one of the best beat ‘em ups ever, and Guard Crush didn’t disappoint with their follow up.

Windswept 🦆🐢
This is the most recent game I’ve played, and I love how it mixes Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, and Celeste.

Eternal Strands!
I’m not really sure the best way to pitch this. It’s got a lot of Breath of the Wild in it, obviously. I think what I loved most was how ice would cling to giant enemies and create interesting strategies. The resource gathering and basecamp loop was satisfying too.

I’m not really sure the best way to pitch this. It’s got a lot of Breath of the Wild in it, obviously. I think what I loved most was how ice would cling to giant enemies and create interesting strategies. The resource gathering and basecamp loop was satisfying too.

As the clue says, I didn’t actually play this. I did watch and offer suggestions on which rooms to pick next, but otherwise this was my wife’s game.
I’ll check it out myself sometime. It is a special little puzzle game with great surprises.

I don’t really expect Disney or Feige to give me the X-Men movies I really want, but this gives me some hope it’s in the ballpark of what I’d be into.
I really want some corner of the MCU films/shows to treat the X-Men as a sci-fi Harry Potter more than some black ops superhero team Fox often did.

My daughter picked out this Elmore Leonard book at the library called “A Coyote’s in the House,” and I’ve watched too much Justified to not hear this coyote as voiced by Walton Goggins or Timothy Olyphant.

I always thought it was weird rangers get the beastmaster subclass and not barbarians because of the movie The Beastmaster.
But I guess Dar is probably more of a ranger and I was just making an assumption based on his Conanesque outfit?
