Just seen these in the supermarket, absolutely without doubt the most accursed flavour ever conceived. Surely, if Brexit could have just 1 poxy dividend, it would be preventing these from entering the country.

Being Irish, I probably say the word closer to riddim because of the way we also pronounce the th sound.
I write riddim when making notes on 7" sleeves because I often check the details on sites like The Riddim Guide or The Riddim Databse, as it feels like its own distinct thing.

I have utmost respect for DJs who can do broad appeal. I did my first digi set last year for a mate's birthday and it was only a 20 yr age spread from late 30s to late 50s, and even that was difficult enough as they weren't all clubbers.

Yep, totally. Loved that series. I went to see it live when he did the Alan Partridge and Less Successful Characters tour. So good.

Not yet, but when the govt announced it was being taken back they said it would happen within a year. It was a couple of months back when they announced it iirc.

You'd also hope if more people start using it, they might focus more on the problem areas where they keep losing money and actually try to improve the service.

I got a full refund for the return leg coming back from Bristol last week. Fine on GWR to Southampton, then SWR was a shit show. Numerous delays, then they just cancelled the service at BMTH. SWR west of Southampton (or maybe even Basingstoke) is such a lottery. Everybody should use Delay Repay.

...bit even made me think of Kraftwerk, but trapped in a hell where teutonic order has been crushed by collapsing, chaotic waveforms. And Mantronix obvs. One section was so ludicrous it forced an involuntary laugh out of me. Like I was really surprised it just happened 😅
