In my opinion if there are strides in between consoles as far as what they’re capable of then the older consoles can be considered retro. I also agree in the 20 year threshold. Looking at the graphics of a PS2 game Versus a PS5 game is night and day. Just like comparing PS2 to SNES or even an N64.

I did this with the Dark Souls series. With Destiny 1 & 2 there’s honestly something so precious about experiencing a game that you can’t go back and replay the seasons. So you take in everything as much as you can before it’s gone

I’ve just been playing Overcooked on my PS4 with my wife. Haven’t had any issues but I also haven’t been online in like 3-4 days so maybe I can take out the SNES and play some Link to The Past
