I don't actually have a question about FFT, I'm pretty sure the direction certain synapses in my brain fire have been altered due to playing it too many times, so instead I'm curious how FFT generally ranks for you compared with other grid-based tactics games?

I have nothing to add to the discussion other than games from the good old days do not resonate with everyone equally. Even re-experiencing formative media anew can totally recontextualize it in your head, sometimes for better or worse, in a way I find fascinating.

I don't check Bluesky for like a week and a half and have missed a week's worth of reactions and discussions of FFX?? What the hell man, I've been missing the good stuff

I also migrated here because of you and @aidanis.fun. I don't know what it is, but people seem to love taking raw data and personal observations from a hardware enthusiast channel as if they were personal offenses. You probably hear more negative than positive so please know your work is appreciated

Hmmm I may have to snag some gamecube controllers then. I thought about modding some original ones with the 8bitdo conversion kit to be Bluetooth but this is much easier

I subscribed a handful of months ago due to nearly every person I follow on here raving about you guys and I gotta say it has been well worth it. The quality of the articles feels like a breath of fresh air. People writing about what they are passionate about, don't know a better way to say it.

I feel like an old man with how I'm going to phrase this but I do miss the Assassins v Templars stuff being more directly tangible in the plot. Mirage had it, but that was the first time in forever that you are an assassin doing assassin things. Where's the Assassins and Templars in my AC game!? Lol

Any FPGA tips? Only ever done emulation in the past. There is a flea market nearby I may strike gold at. I'm kicking the adolescent me for thinking it was all junk and not holding onto it.

I did pre-order a SuperStation, that may be hard to remain firm on no CRTs whenever that comes out. (Check that out if you find the time!)

Amen to that brother, love me the PSP. First console/handheld I bought for myself that wasn't a handmedown or gift. I don't even know how many hours I spent on that thing.
