This genuinely seems like a bad idea. There will be more than zero people who will get audited because of hallucination derived tax returns.

I don't think they "pushed a negative narrative". The movie didn't age well. It's a fairly cynical film and has some upsetting character changes.

Neither film did particularly well compared to other DC films or any marvel film prior to 2020. I will agree Man of Steel performed better at the box office. I'm surprised Superman performed so poorly, given it was very well received.

What was the cost of production? That's a big factor in determining if a film flopped or not.

Like, Better Call Saul was a slow burn, but we knew going in it would lead into Breaking Bad and all that fun; also the first two episodes had more than enough tension to hook me. So far, Pluribus has given away too much of its "mystery" and seems to be twiddling its fingers and I'm bored.

It's very slow, and isn't building to something fast enough. I want to like it but I'm so bored.
