This was a really amusing thing to think about.
I've found a lot of our best design decisions were somewhat influenced by media outside of our genre or gaming in general🤔
Cowboy Bebop had another strong influence when deciding to make everything look tactile

Here are the original paintings for Villin from Somniphobia!
I simply paint out the body parts, take a photo of them with my phone and use lasso select in GIMP to carefully cut out the body pieces. Then I can just stick them all together in Unity 😄
