had a fun time overall. i just think the event could have been run better in some aspects, at least by my standards
i think doing some type of waterfall would be really cool for next time and accomplish what i assume the TOs were going for with the current format

- compared to a DE bracket, the format was very generous to players who placed 1st/2nd in pools and either made little difference or was very cruel (see the 3 way tie in pool 2) to players who placed 3rd and below

- there was no communication about the format ahead of time or even at the tournament. i didn't know i made it out in winners until after i already played my first bracket set
- i think it would be worth ending reg at least a day earlier so that we can spend some time preparing for our pools

- got iced for like 10 mins by a TO which was super annoying. if you want to enter your own event, you should be prepared to delegate TO tasks while you are scheduled to play
- i personally would not have let a PR'd player enter but I understand if they weren't taking that aspect too seriously
