Today I protested with 20,000 others against massive budget cuts on education and scientific research. They are really harmful!
At short-term for students who pay a big fine for learning a bit more, for universities less money for education and science.
Only try to imagine the long-term effects...

Yesterday we organised the 4th Quantitative Microbial Ecology meeting in Wageningen.
First lecture of the day by Gerlinde de Deyn.... its the soil microbes, especially fungi, that give the specific taste to wines.
