I was just thinking about this

I’m with you on a lot of things but I don’t think this is the right stance to take. The point isn’t always whether they are able to, it’s what they’re willing to try and how best to prepare for it. We know they’re planning, so how do we respond? Can’t afford to not take some things seriously.

Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now
