When pre-rendered backgrounds and anime sprites combine: one of my favourite first-time experiences of last year and first ever PC-FX game playthrough: Team Innocent: The Point of No Return.
It's not a great game (the combat is especially poor and feels token), but it's one worth experiencing.

Working on some smooth low-poly 3D tiles, for subterranean environments.
Having trouble with Blender, getting the sharp seams/normals to be shared across different tile shapes. Tricky to get the edges pointing the same kind of forward, but keep the vertical smoothing. Like the general look though!
