This update also has fixes for players getting blocked when transitioning to a new Altars wave as well as on the final boss when going through the first damage phase too quickly.

This update also has fixes for players getting blocked when transitioning to a new Altars wave as well as on the final boss when going through the first damage phase too quickly.
Want to fill your candy buckets in the interim? Use this workaround: in the first phase of the boss fight, wait the 10 seconds until the Shriekers close, and then complete the damage phase to avoid the soft lock.

While the best way to get themed loot and additional bonus drops will be through Haunted Altars or Red Rumble, we wanted to make sure players could partake in Festival of the Lost goodies no matter what activity they choose to engage with within the Portal.

Completing Portal activities has a high chance to treat you to Festival of the Lost bonus engrams, spread around and earnable in other Portal activities.

We initially thought 777 would be a good target but landed upon... 99,999.

Adding a Portal change we've communicated previously but wasn't in the initial published draft of the 9.1.5.1 patch notes:
- All Bonus Drops now get Power matching the other scored engrams that drop at the same time.
- All Bonus Drops now get Power matching the other scored engrams that drop at the same time.

Adding a Portal change we've communicated previously but wasn't in the initial published draft of the 9.1.5.1 patch notes:
- All Bonus Drops now get Power matching the other scored engrams that drop at the same time.
- All Bonus Drops now get Power matching the other scored engrams that drop at the same time.
- We are shipping a minor change that reduces the number of Unstable Cores needed for infusion at higher power levels until they are deprecated.

- We have added a one-time reward of 777,777 Unstable Cores to the catch-up chest that will be available in the Tower tomorrow at reset. We highly recommend signing in and using these before they're removed!

We don't have an exact patch for this change just yet but are working rapidly to align on a target date. In the short term, we have two items of note shipping tomorrow with Destiny 2 Update 9.1.5.1.

Overall, we've found that Unstable Cores have been too restrictive across power levels and fail to drive interesting buildcraft decisions.

Overall, we've found that Unstable Cores have been too restrictive across power levels and fail to drive interesting buildcraft decisions.
We have landed on a plan to fully deprecate this currency. Once deprecated, infusion will cost an amount of Enhancement Cores and Glimmer.
