I don't think this is necessarily good work flow advice for game art modelling, but I find that what works best for me is to try and model everything as one object, maintaining quads where I can. Means everything lines up when I break things apart.

Work in progress of the Toyota GR Yaris which I thought would be a pretty straight forward shape to model, but there is a *lot* going on at the front and back and I've not nailed that crease between the door and the rear arch, but we'll get there.

my 205 render on /r/rally because I thought people appreciate a fellow nerd recreating obscure liveries.
