I wont lie, I hated almost everything abaut the finale, but one part i liked is how Jayce looked angry and stoic the whole time in act3 and then the moment he properly got to talk to viktor he went: 🥺
Despite going trought hell he never lost his kindness.
He only acted that way when he has to.

The fact that one of they old witters wrote that makes... too much sense.
And yes the speech does make more sense if u keep that in mind, but imo thats def something the writer snuck in, cuz i doubt the company wanted the old lore that less folks know to be referenced in this way

In a way i cant blame them cuz the company 100% acts like this is the case.
Like for them they are just dead and arcane is so much better and viktor was cliche and problematic?
Viktor fans needed to trow a riot so they can get a legacy skin.
So these connections arent explored at all official.

People naively believed they wouldn't waste they time and the shows time with shilling another region with a plot line that had nothing to do with anything, only to promote and ingame even.
