I have GOT to remember to post around here! No one can find me if I'm not here, right? Anyway... I've been painting blobs and finding critters in them. It's been fun... and the studio is cool enough to actually paint, so I'm back to painting! YAY!

To break in my new nibs and ink, I sketched birds from CatTV. This page was all just one wren in different positions.🙂 I did 3 pages of different birds... oops. Is it June yet?

My players today: Rogue climbs up 20 feet and runs a rope between two rings that appear to be for an "attic" door. drops both ends down. Pulls on one while the buff cleric pulls on the other. Strength check. Cleric rolls an 18. Rogue rolls a one. Rogue ends up with his feet dangling four feet in the air. From the other side of my room the EO comes over to me with a sticky note: "Peanut gallery APPROVES! 5/5 would watch rogue reinvent the pulley again..."

Sometimes it's the little things that make you smile. today while waiting for my car to be serviced, I found myself sketching studies for a book cover of a book I haven't finished writing... Love this little boot and calf for a dwarf I'm designing...

For the moment, I have moved to big cats... Jaguars, American cousins to Leopards (sometimes seen in AZ/TX, but they no longer have a viable breeding population there... :( ) I'm figuring out their facial structure, which is blockier than the housecat's. The better to eat faces with...

Our void, Coal, has what we call his "hug" in the crows nest of the cat perch... SOMETIMES he pokes enough out of it that we can tell he's there...
