What even is “the world’s idea machine”?

I think some of these dudes could be moved to a "Worst Person Hall of Fame" to allow for new worst people. But Karp, Lutke, Altman, Luckey, Ek, and Zuck are all high up on my "I'd love to sucker punch" list.

That would replace all my time on IG. @thestorygraph.com could prolly do this as well for book lovers (also, me). Anyway, if I could replace doomscrolling with mindlessly building up watched/read catalogues that would make me so happy. So, this is a wholly free idea and unsolicited feature request.

I couldn't find a gif that properly expresses how hard I groaned at this news.

Stallone looks like a budget Madame Tussauds wax statue.

I need so much more Mervyn Peake in my social media feeds.

I’m happy with the results of my Apple … whatever it’s called … but the share cards are really poorly designed. But also easily half my listening this year was a mix of vinyl and bandcamp and would absolutely impact my Apple thing.

I don’t know when you turned into a “chairs in strange locations” account, but I’m here for it.

I don’t know what I just finished reading. But I think this book altered my brain chemistry in a good way. It’s too soon to tell, but there’s definitely new sloshing of brain goo happening. I must now seek out all of her previous books. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

That White Cat, Black Dog cover is so so good and feels more aligned in tone with the book. I'm glad I already have a regular Cloud Atlas because all I can get from the shops is the movie poster edition.

Mostly just alternate covers of books. David Mitchell's books released under Sceptre have much better covers than we get in Canada. Jeff VanderMeer's anniversary editions of the first 3 Southern Reach books aren't available and those covers are gorgeous.

Just the Great Lakes. Which I guess are big enough that a lot of people think are oceans because you can’t see the other side of them. 😅

So. Turns out I really enjoy this series.

If you make it out to the farm I'd be careful. Everything is good and you'll very quickly have one of everything. 😅

Sheldon Creek do a 350ml bottle of the good stuff (they also do 1qt, 1L, & 2L). They've got some decent coverage in small grocers in southern ontario. Their farm store is just outside New Tecumseth, and they also do mail orders.

I think MPC and The Mill still have their Paris studio (I think all the assets were acquired by some holding company). I’m pretty sure The Mill is still doing Severance vfx.

I think the first two seasons came out pretty close together as well. But Moving Picture Company (vfx for those two seasons) shuttered. Probably why this season had such a gap in time from the last one. Those first two seasons were next level good.

You referring to a different series or the earlier seasons in this series?

I prefer just one Charlie horse instead of two.

Yeah. I always do it in my non-dominant arm. And then remember after the fact that as a side sleeper, that’s the arm I sleep on. 🤦
