He definitely will not.

No one is going to care that the Democrats did this. All they're going to know is that their healthcare costs are going to go up, and the stories they'll see is that the Democrats chose to prioritize re-opening the government over those costs.

Why the fuck can these senators not see this?

Been there, done that. Had the weekend with my son (wife and daughter were out of town) and got paged and had to deal with an issue all day today.

Son is not happy with me at all. All we can do it do our best to make it up to them. We're people, and stress gets the best of us sometimes.

I mean, it's certainly wasn't a great choice. But, throwing the book at these guys when the whole game, and sports in general, is literally drowning in gambling ads and sponsorship seems a bit hypocritical.

Not defending them, but 65 years seems insane given this context.

So much for “states rights”!

Kind of wish that they would be the ones flying around in the planes without engines.

Would solve a lot of problems. Just stay over open water though.

Oh, I don’t disagree entirely. It’s just having the Mets and Yankees ranked above, when they’re facing largely the same issues.

Bo needs to re-sign (and, I imagine he probably will) and FA SP pool is pretty strong, so if they can lock up someone and a few relievers, I think the team looks fine.

I mean, the Mets were ranked higher.

I absolutely think it is. But, it works in their favour. Everyone thought the same at the beginning of last season.

I want everyone to continue to underestimate the Jays.

I mean, he’s not wrong about insurance companies.

But, with their new found wealth, what did he think “buying their own healthcare” would entail for most Americans?

Just paying doctors directly?

They’re truly not bringing their best.

Yeah, posting a screenshot of X without even alt-text is not great effort here.

Not sure if there is a point.

Unbelievable. Well, entirely believable but absolutely insane how captured the GOP is.

So many supposed old republicans really just out there being MAGA.

Thune, Massie, Collins? Where the fuck are you?

I just kept staring at Trumps dopey little pouty face and I totally missed the feet elevation!

I’m impressed you’re back in Bluejay gear! Every time I look at it, despair sets in.

Seriously though, the military spending is fucking crazy. Will do nothing for the affordability crisis he campaigned on.
November 6, 2025 at 10:51 PM
Why do they keep talking to this blithering moron?
November 6, 2025 at 10:48 PM
It’s so, so bad. Unbelievably gaudy and cheap looking.

At this point, what’s left of the east wing is less of an eye sore.
November 6, 2025 at 10:46 PM
It was pretty good.

All coaches are staying (well, the org isn’t changing anything there) except for Don who left on his own.

Sounds like they’ll be aggressive with Bo and possibly Bassitt.

Didn’t seem all that concerned about spending in the OS but if we can retain enough, we can run it back.

I’ll never buy anything associated with Musk, either past or present.

As far as I’m concerned, he’s the most evil person in existence. Anything he’s touched is forever tainted.
