The normalcy blindness of threatening to take over a sovereign country and being surprised that it’s a problem.

Think Russia trying to take Ukraine- that’s what 🇺🇸is doing. How many Russians objected? That’s how many Americans are objecting.

So yeah. Not a good look.

Especially for kids. They lost 100% of the ability to be outside safely. In cities, that’s everywhere.

Everywhere is unsafe because of cars.

It’s crazy to me that people see eScooters as more of a threat than… let’s say enormous pickup trucks, with jacked suspensions.

One of those will kill you for sure.

The novel aspect is key I guess.

I’d like to see car parking designed the same way.

“Oh look! It’s that beautiful parking shaped like a 1960s car the no one knows how to get in to. It’s so pretty!”

This is nice political talk but what your administration is doing is giving to some voters (Outremont) what they want at the expense of everyone, notably folks from Cote des neiges.

You are doing the dividing.

There are good transportation networks and there are bad ones.

Finland is also a Nordic country but they keep their bicycle infrastructure all year.

That’s the problem here. Right here.

You either build it and maintain it or you don’t.

And if you don’t people will drive. There’s enough data out there, some Outremont voters might not know but lots of us do

I hope so honestly. I will tell you a secret also. If you are able to give back the water to Montrealers, water access, beaches, free from pollution. Accessible to humans and dogs, you will get reelected.

Water is huge and Paris has showed everyone it’s possible.

No respectfully, I meant through the decisions and results of your administration’s actions. It’s a bit early to tell.

Show don’t tell.

This one aspect is crucial. Progressive values and competent leadership, yes!
Losing the election? NO!

We need a win more than we need good candidates. The progressive political forces in vancouver need to understand this. You have my money. Roll up your sleeves and get it done please.
