Warhammer 40k T'au Empire Commander Farsight progress pictures 7. I felt like I was spamming this mini a bunch, so I stopped posting progress pictures and all of a sudden, it was just... done? As always, there's a few things that could be improved, but I'm happy overall and ready to move on.

Warhammer 40k T'au Empire Commander Farsight progress pictures 6. Not a ton of change, but I was really happy with how the hand turned out and I know I'm about to wreck stuff doing the elbow and shoulder, so here's some pictures. :)

Warhammer 40k T'au Empire Commander Farsight progress pictures 5. I had a little bit of painting time tonight, so I got the plasma rifle to where I'm happy with it. I think the shield arm is up next, starting on the little knuckle gaps. Pray for me.

Warhammer 40k T'au Empire Commander Farsight progress pictures 4. After a failed experiment with panel liner, the shield is looking worse, but good enough for me to move on. The helmet is also not quite where I want it, but good enough. My new phone also makes it look a lot more orange than it is.

I had a visitor while I was painting in the basement this evening. I'd love to know what kind of bird it is, if anyone can tell. I'm in suburban Winnipeg, in case that helps.

Warhammer 40k T'au Empire Commander Farsight progress picture 3. I spent a little time cleaning up the shield. I hope to polish it off in another sitting or two, then maybe start on the head.

Warhammer 40k T'au Empire Commander Farsight progress picture 2. I got the first layer down on the shield. There's a bunch of blending to do after the second layer, and I think I'll change the accent color. I'm enjoying going super-slow on this model, for sure.

With the addition of the Coldstar Commander to the shelf of less shame, I have officially crossed 2k of painted T'au. There's a fair way to go before it's a GOOD 2k list, but it's a start!

Warhammer 40k T'au Empire Coldstar Commander progress pictures 2. Everything's cleaned up now and ready for play. My list for next weekend's tournament is now all painted and I can move on to future plans. :)

Warhammer 40k T'au Empire Coldstar Commander progress pictures. I ended up getting a lot farther along with this one today than I had hoped for. All that's left now is an hour or so of cleanup and a spray of sealer.

I did a couple of minor cleanups, but nothing worth another picture, so Broadside #2 has moved to the shelf of less shame.

Warhammer 40k T'au Empire Broadside Battlesuit #2 progress pictures 1. I made a really good dent into this one today, leaving the plasma, major cleanups, and basing for later. I've got this mini and a commander to do before the 26th and I'm feeling pretty decent about it right now.

Warhammer 40k T'au Empire Piranha progress pictures 6. I'm done. There are some pretty noticeable errors in construction and painting, but I'm happy enough with it for play. Vacation's over now, so my output's going to drop, however I hope to finish two more models before my tournament.

Warhammer 40k T'au Empire Broadside Battlesuit #1 progress pictures 2. I think I'm done for today. Although there's lots of cleanup and basing left to do, I'm pretty happy with the progress I made. This may be the last miniature I complete before vacation's end, though.
