Reported in 1983 is issue 72 of Starlog, they already had Jack Nicholson in mind to play the Joker. Even though this movie was never made and a new version of the script was used in 1989 it is incredible that this early on they were already looking to Nicholson.

I remember how big of a deal the news outlets made of this quiz book written by a 12 year old. I had this book as a kid and some of those questions were hard. From 1983. Starlog issue 70.
