I had a lot of respect for you before but this is an absolute NO GO. The Americans are threatening to annex Canada. There can be no normalisation of fascism and annexation. There is no equal partnership being offered. There is only extortion: join or we take it. THAT can never be normalised. EVER.

Sorry Ian, the mere fact that you discussed the possibilities as if Canadian provinces would be normally treated like US states and they would all vote Dem is so factually misleading. Of course no Trump regime is going to do that. You cannot normalise fascism EVER.

PBS and CBC (Ian Hanomansing) did a collaborative piece on: should Canada be absorbed into America? Pros/Cons.
Despicable. I will never read/watch PBS or listen to Hanomansing ever again. Total fascist propaganda. Glad PBS got defunded. Hanomansing suggested it would be good for Canada. My god.
