Lawyer here. If one reads the dissents in the case where the MAGA 6 on the Supreme Court gave Trump criminal immunity, sadly it’s yes. They warned that immunity incentivizes corruption, as Trump could order the assassination of a rival, organize a coup, or take a bribe and be immune from prosecution
