My fiancée gave me the prompt for an alien. And I didn’t wanna just do an alien so his favorite flowers are sunflowers so it became a sunflower alien.

We started playing with composition and framing. Mainly we wanted to paint the sky. It’s not where we want it to be but we had fun and learned a lot and I really like how the clouds turned out.

Work in progress! I FINALLY found my tablet pen nibs so I can rejoin the world of digital art. First order of business is to get my icon updated and then I’m going to start working on some portfolio pieces. I will be opening up to commission work soon so keep an eye open for that!
