All of this is performative, but with a purpose: he’s letting Republican lawbreakers who are now doing his bidding, and whom he will ask to do much worse, know that he will pardon them for whatever crimes they commit.

The institutionalization of sycophantic, pathological lying is one of the more evil evils propagated by the Trump regime. It’s become endemic to all things Republican.
November 26, 2025 at 10:50 PM
True. For all their evil, the SS and Gestapo operated unmasked and in uniform. The shameful and cowardly way that ICE operates doesn’t even care to feign legitimacy.

Those two men should’ve been home with their families instead the criminal in the White House forced them to go far from their homes for a political show in DC that wasn’t even legal. Donald Trump owns this.
November 26, 2025 at 9:49 PM
Absolutely. There’s no question the President of the United States put National
Guardsmen in harms way in hopes that’s something like this would happen and give him pretext for even greater intrusions on Americans’ liberty
November 26, 2025 at 9:48 PM
Of course. The facts won’t matter to them they never do. Let’s be honest Trump put national guardsman in harms way in the cities, hoping that something like this would happen and could give them pretext for even worse.
November 26, 2025 at 9:17 PM
The rest of us are awaiting a meeting between Satan and Trump.
November 26, 2025 at 9:14 PM
It can be a risky strategy in a wave election. There’s a tipping point where if the electorate moves far enough in one direction suddenly you’ve made things much worse for yourselves with redistricting because you’ve created more vulnerable red districts. We will see if that happens in 2026.
November 26, 2025 at 8:39 PM
Absolutely. The overwhelming blame is on Trump and Republicans, but the failure of many to even consider the possibility that the Dems have made serious mistakes, both respect to the policies they’ve advocated as well as to their response to Trump’s crimes and his fascist threat is not helpful.
November 26, 2025 at 8:20 PM
So tragic. The Latin vote was absolutely decisive in getting Trump elected.
November 26, 2025 at 8:01 PM
And a rapist. And a traitor. And a seditionist. And a corrupt bribe taking grifter. And . . .
November 26, 2025 at 7:58 PM
Trump is really never given a shit about what his voters think or want. He’s all about using them which he’s done quite successfully.
November 26, 2025 at 7:56 PM
To do that we need court reform. Expand the Supreme Court. Create a new intermediate court of appeals below the Supreme Court and fill it with Democratic appointees.
November 26, 2025 at 7:53 PM
Ted Cruz was too stupid to realize it, but he absolutely made the kid’s point.
November 26, 2025 at 7:50 PM
It’s the truth and it’s scary.

If Zelinsky is forced to accept the deal, I hope Ukraine uses the time they buy with the deal to develop nukes that can reach Moscow. The lesson from this war is that Ukraine ultimately can rely only on Ukraine to defend itself.
November 26, 2025 at 7:41 PM
It’s such an obvious point, but Democrats have always been so reluctant to take populist positions, probably because corporate donors don’t like them. I would say make data centers totally pay their way with zero subsidies from consumers.
November 26, 2025 at 7:39 PM
You don’t have to redistrict state election districts you can only redistrict US house seats.
November 26, 2025 at 7:38 PM
There’s no way to take this as anything other than a threat. Colorado needs to go to Federal court right now and get an injunction against this criminal.
November 26, 2025 at 7:24 PM
You don’t know that. Her duty was to do everything she could to bring Trump to justice. When she become an issue she should have stepped away. This is fundamental.
November 26, 2025 at 5:37 PM
Good point. If every Democrat in Congress did that it would shut the Republicans down.
November 26, 2025 at 5:34 PM
It’s amazing how members of Congress with no investment experience suddenly become ace, investors, and make millions on the stock market in just a few years. Truly miraculous.
November 26, 2025 at 5:28 PM
There were numerous similar reports in early 2024. With one or two exceptions the mass exit didn’t happen. Republicans like to speak anonymously about their outrage and desire to distance themselves, but when it comes to acting almost all chicken out.
November 26, 2025 at 5:26 PM
Fani Willis should’ve withdrawn from the case and appointed a special prosecutor long before it ever came to this.
