Definitely. I am always very positive and enthusiastic at the end of interview, knowing you've lost them. It's like being in stand up. You are looking at the audience who have the dead eyed look.

I want to do something which makes a difference in the community, not sure what that is yet. The job I just applied for ticked that box. But it's clear they've chosen someone they had lined up already.

I just need to decide what I want to do, as applying for the same roles is not working.

That's true too about ageism. I think organisations should advertise internal candidates only. At least it would be more honest and wouldn't waste people's time.
