For those who disagree and think it makes Porter come across as a badass (I'd argue arrogant), would you still support this kind of behavior from one of the male gov candidates? Because all were asked the same question and none had a tantrum or felt the need to go after the interviewer personally.

The job of a governor is to focus on a myriad of issues simultaneously. This legislation is a huge win for anyone who cares about accessing housing in California which last I checked is all 40 mil of its residents. Actions that pave the way for a better future offer hope to many in these dark times.

Bad actors using CEQA as a tool for advancing the NIMBY agenda to stall or block the development of projects like environmentally friendly apartments and clean energy infrastructure is not the way to preserving our climate imho.

Yes initially the federal judge did. However Trump appealed to the ninth circuit court for a stay on the Temporary Restraining Order so Breyer's ruling to return control of the guard is on hold for now. Oral arguement over the TRO stay took place on tues. but no decision from the 3 judge panel yet.
