Better than going to waste. They are selling off the booze that was already taken off the shelf earlier this year. Proceeds are going to charity Various food banks. No new booze is being bought from the US for sale in Manitoba.

You do understand how avian flu is spread, right? Those ostriches presented a risk of infection to any poultry in the area. It is very sad, but necessary. That's farming. I don't imagine anyone is getting any joy out of it. You have to protect other farms.

You're right. It was painful really. I never understood the whole idea of singing national anthems at the club level anyway so I don't usually bother listening.

I had it for a few years living in the city. Now I'm back to rural living, I'm fine with picking up the mail at the post office. I'm worried about the possibility of losing our rural post office though. That would be a blow
