The problem is who with gravitas would launch such an attack? The immediate GOP response will be "you are endangering their safety" and the attacker will back off.

Except I have no confidence that either Jefferies or Schumer will aggressively go after these criminals. Just today, Jefferies ruled out starting an impeachment inquiry against Hegseth.

The solution is not to rewrite the constitution, do away with the Senate, redraw states, etc. Solving this will require deeper dispassionate thinking. 2/x

Harris barely lost by 1% margin. Few thousand votes across seven states would have changed the outcome. Trying to derive some mega trend from such a result is silly. The biggest reason is that she got seven million fewer votes than Biden. No one has seriously explained why beyond their pet theories.

While this is a good list, the most important task is to de-trumpify the American society. That means driving out of the public sphere those who enabled and sustained Trump's rise. Top of the list includes the Supreme Court, tech billionaires, and the Murdoch empire. 1/x
