There's the UAZ Patriot. It's horrible. In Bulgaria we received vehicles that had some parts assembled backwards.

It has begun, UAZ canceled the camping version of the Bukhanka. Supposedly they will return to building it in February 2026 when parts are again available but for a while there's been talk of a possible full cancellation of the Bukhanka as a whole.

Map of Utilities outages in Russia for the week 10th to the 16th of November. This week we had a drop in the number of outages but the averages seem to be in line with 2024's levels.

The story itself should speak about how dire the situation is for Russian transport aviation but this quote from the article says it all. They have only 1 simulator for the Il-76. ONE, for all possible pilots.

Russian oil taxes for November are the second lowest they've been all year with just 1505 rubles per barrel of oil.

Map of Utilities outages in Russia for the week 10th to the 16th of November. This week outages are much much higher than the prior week. Expect a graph to come to compare weeks with prior years from next Sunday.

There's a new explanation for an entire chain of gas stations in Novosibirsk not having fuel. It's because they're about to rebrand as Teboil from Nafta24. The rebranding seems to only be about gasoline though...

Graph of the regions that are creating local units to defend key infrastructure using reservists. In Krasnoyarsk likely they focus only on sabotage prevention as it's too far from Ukraine. Taken from this article:

Updated map of the regions of Russia where there are shortages of gasoline or diesel and how early was it first reported. As always it's worse in the occupied territories. Added just one region since the last update, Vologda.

In another story on how "there's no gasoline shortage in Russia" in Ulyanovsk Lukoil gas stations that were opened in February are being sold on Avito for 150 million rubles. It casually mentions that Lukoil gas stations are permanently out of gasoline...

Here's an article that goes in depth into the failure of Russian air defense to stop drone attacks on refineries. It turns out they are more focused on reporting how many bullets they spent than how much of the refinery was protected.

Map of Utilities outages in Russia for the week 27th of October to the 2nd of November. This year starts really strong with 250 outages reported in the last week of October vs 225 last year. More importantly this is the first year of outages due to drone attacks.

Because people wonder if the shortages of fuel persist in Russia here's an example from Ulyanovsk region from the city itself with Lukoil gas stations and independent ones not having gasoline when the local news team inspected them. Issues persist.

Aeroflot has made a separate company AeroTransTehniks which now after they got their FAP-145 certification from the Russian government will start repairing CFM56-5B and CFM56-7B airplane engines. This is without the manufacturer's approval.

In Yekaterinburg locals are complaining to media that they are driving in circles looking for Ai-95 gasoline. And there's none even at Gazprom, Lukoil and Rosneft gas stations because fuel depots are empty.

The Russian oil tax for October is slightly above September but below August. Not as bad as June or May but still bad overall.
October 25, 2025 at 7:55 PM
This is probably due to in August military vehicles were up 62,2% vs 6% in September, guidance systems up 12% vs 18,4 in September and munitions and this is a big one 21,2% up vs down 1,6% in September.
