Just do it, see what happens :). I've been doing it for like 9 years. I always wear a hat though because my head is cold all the time otherwise now.

I would say at worst it is mildly disappointing if a DJ only shows up right before their set and then leaves immediately after their set, but I would never enforce anything like that ever. I recognize people are busy
