Does the new communist ether have a theory/solution to infiltration of libs into communist parties via identity politicy?

does anyone know a marxist analysis of why USSR collapsed? The explanations i usually heard is "revisionism", but i don't see how that is a marxist explanation. And, if it was revisionism, how does the next revolution overcome this?
