Not saying all eras are equal, but progressions are felt every generation. Radio was arguably a bigger leap from printed media than the internet was from 24/7 news networks in terms of scale and speed. They projected between 150 and 200 million dollars in 2000, came in at 100 million dollars, had a lawsuit that it was 30 million dollars too expensive.

It is funny that people are split on which they think I'm more surprised was expensive. For the record, I easily understand how Expedition Everest cost $100 million, while Mission: Space baffles me (although I am learning there are some additional factors as to why it was so expensive).
