Oh, neat! And yeah... The writing is truly beautiful, but sometimes I am glad that I'm reading it as an adult who is more socially aware. I hope you'll share your thoughts if you reread!
(I'm actually planning on rereading the craft sequence this year too, so I can properly enjoy the new book👀)

Dark is Rising by Susan Cooper.
This is A Favourite. The writing is gorgeous, lyrical & pure magic! Strangely, it felt familiar even though I know I'd never read it before

We Solve Murders by Richard Osman. Quite entertaining, I especially enjoyed Rosie.
But some parts of the story also dragged for me. A fun read, but not a favourite
