I know some people believe virtue only counts if you don't talk about it, and if that's you that's fine, but just to say I find it helpful & inspiring to see folks I follow doing cool work

Getting a lot of messages. A lot are like "Can I come help?" (appreciated, but unless you know the area very well, probably not THAT useful) or "Can I send money?" (not to me, please).

But the best ones are like "I want to build what you guys have back in my home city." YES, DO THAT. DO IT NOW.

I was 18 when I called out Nazi shitheads causing trouble at the first Dead Kennedys show in Toronto. They threw bottles, spit, threat and bile. We held our ground. So I don't lose sleep when boomer /Gen X/ Incels have tantrums and throw threats online. Nazi punks fuck off.
