Does anyone know of an open/standard protocol to control rgb led strips over IP and/or serial?
I have a load of WS2812 compatible strips, and one has an Arduino with a custom serial protocol, but I'd like to control them all the same way from elsewhere.

Reimported my source data at 1:1 resolution (1m in real data is 1m in game) and used a higher res, 1km square terrain image, and I can see contours around the hill!
Given that was my entire aim for this project, I'm pretty pleased :)

Resolution and detail leaves a lot to be desired, but this is an OS 1:25K map rendered over a low res (~10m) terrain of the same area, with the comparative view from Google Maps.

Playing with importing real topographical data into Unity terrains, and it's.... recognisable!
