And this was a big director on a big production with A+ talent. They weren't short of money on this.

Worst example I know of was a director taking an artist's work, downloading his DeviantArt page and giving it to his art department to build his film from. The artist only found out when one of the team who knew him emailed him to say that it was great that they were finally working together.

Sadly, Stan wasn't the only one like that.
