Pointed at the Andromeda Galaxy last night. The #touptek 585M does a great job and atm is my favourite camera but it needs to be paired with something wider than my 420mm triplet. I think an SQA55 or SV555 will be on my doorstep soon to do this camera justice. #astrophotography #space #andromeda

What a surprise. Trying out HDR mode on my #Touptek 585 mono and aimed at the squid nebula. Got 2 hours on each filter, Ha-Oiii-Sii and shocked with what I got. This is going to be my next project. I'll aim for 40ish hours with a bias towards the H and Oiii. #Astronomy #Astrophotography #Space

Battled with high level cloud last night but salvaged a couple of hours of data on the Wizard Nebula. Starting to look for a wider scope, eyeing up the Draco 62 or the SQA55. Any astro nerds out there got the Draco 62? #astronomy #astrophotography #space #nebula

I went back to mono in March this year. Been a while as I switched to OSC quite a while ago as they were getting so good, but I have to say, I really do love the ease of mono processing. #astrophotography #astronomy #touptek

Well, after weeks of waiting. here at 50 degrees north there's finally enough darkness to make an imaging session worthwhile. So to welcome the dark I've gone to visit an old friend, The Western Veil Nebula. First sub in and it's good to be back at the pier. #astrophotograpy #touptek

Well, 4 nights on the Pinwheel Galaxy and had a play with SetiAstroSuite. Really not sure I've got the hang of it yet. 20ish hours of LRGB and got 4 hours of Ha to add at some point. #Astrophotography #Astronomy

The joys of waking up in the morning to find your imaging session died about an hour after you went to bed. Oh well, there will be other nights to add to the data. Anyway, tried a few different things with the 1.5h I got on the Monkey Head Nebula. Rough data so better to come. #Astrophotography

Had some spare time today so had a better play with my Bodes/Cigar Galaxy image (M81/M82) Not a lot of data, 3.5 hours of LRGB+Ha. Happy with it so far, will add some more at another time. #Astronomy #Astrophotography

Ok AstroFam, just tried adding some Ha to my LRGB Bodes data and wondering if anyone has any good workflow tips for adding it. Just seems kinda saturated a little too much but don't want to dial the Ha down too much. #Astrophotography #Touptek #Skywatcher #Astronomy
