The Ja performance was just kinda neutral for me in terms of taking anything away from it which might be positive at this point.

Will be forever bummed that we may never see the full version of the team because I think it was kind of a cool roster design. Limited ceiling but it was gonna be a fun concept I think.

With they had more small guard depth. Like a more established creator who can also shoot and maybe even another defensively minded PG who is decent on offense.

If the NBA played an NFL schedule I would feel fairly confident in Ja stretching his athletic prime a bit further.

Yeah, i definitely think JJJ is missing his floaters and post hooks at a more normal rate.
But at the same time I think TI just views Jaren as kind of a bonus player on offense. I don’t think he sees him as a guy worthy of building systems around. Which kinda tracks with his background.

Perhaps tho listing Coward as “coming off injury” is iffy and Jaren has played 30+ in 5 of the last 10 coming into tonight.

I don’t think TI is all that concerned with Jaren as an offensive priority and obviously last year’s system was perfect for him. But some of this falloff is that he was just bananas on floaters from a distance & of a type that hardly anyone in the league is efficient on.
