Good spotting the scammer. I searched for my name, and of course I'll always find the far more popular singer of the same name. I'm 45, so I was here first, lol

But yes, there's a bunch of scammers. I do sing but for kids. Sometimes I'll come and the educators will make fun because of the name

I've no problem with leaders having the time and resources to do their job

An issue I see, as a practical progressive, if the conditions of the job are too hard or the pay too low, then bribery will be a bigger issue than lobby influence, and the private sector more compelling

What would you want more of in the budget?

AUKUS is something that would need to be slipped out of carefully, it signifies a stepping away from the alliance Jackie Lambie style (which I'm not all together opposed to, but what fills the power vacuum?)

Starting to see through @thejuicemedia.bsky.social and calling Labor "Shit Lite" while advocating for Climate 200

There are other progressive independents, Labor however are certainly not "same same", "all as bad" etc

I'm no Trump supporter, I was neutral on the US not having an official language

A future administration not playing into the anxieties of people could do well by adding other recognised official languages which could do well in giving focus to funding (sign language, First Nations languages, etc)

the USA has not had an official language, which has frustrated people with the great replacement & anxieties often amplified by bad faith types in the media

Designing English does however stage the obvious, as one would still need to get a certain IELTS score to attend University, etc

I agree

It has something biblical-ish sounding about it. Many are not political, will see something that sounds biblical in nature (law, sin, death, etc) and it will sound familiar and therefore right

Critique to the same audience would need to be phrased in a way that likewise sounds prophetic

Because economists are looking at the economy as a flat percentage, not factoring in distribution

So up go interest rates, the cost of consumables goes 👇 and the price of assets that the wealthy want (real estate, gold, stocks) all go ☝️ governments & people end up poor

Labor just moved to stop overseas people buying preexisting homes, putting on them what the negative gearing reform would have done for every investor

This might shift things. Progressives will see it as step before making the same rules for all investments. RWNJ's just like immigrant bashing

And by hand-balled to governments, that's debt coming from the tax payer at a time everyone's crying about energy costs

I just think "why are people calling out for nuclear?" Well, right wing media are calling out, I suspect some of them have mates who want some corporate welfare for their projects

apparently it can be recycled and reused, and this was discovered early on... however had an end put to it because the process makes it easy to extract weapons grade plutonium
February 14, 2025 at 11:43 AM
So, regarding nuclear. It can be recycled. Spent nuclear rods that need to be stored forever can be recycled, and each time that's done - the waste is easier to deal with although it's costly SCARILY though, the easy byproduct is weapons grade plutonium 😬

Is this the game?

I'm the admin of the Facebook group 10K members "Box Hill and Burwood Community, Melbourne". If any of these services want to advertise or engage there, or anyone in the trans community, I'll be quick to moderate a safe space (for those even on FB, lol)

The Labor party is the most aggressive on housing in a long long time. We'll look back in 10 years and be impressed by the graph of housing stock, but right now, of only the beginning of the up-tick, so feels insignificant

The UK has a first past the post system, right? Which doesn't help. If The UK Green party doesn't get up, there's no preference to show the next party to move the vote to is another progressive party (we have in Australia)

If Reform get up, the UK is heading for hard times

I had a look at your website. Impressive

Was looking around my area and was fascinated to see my old Church, Box Hill Baptist. I just assumed only Uniting Church's put in effort, pleasantly surprised to see religious folk giving support in a day when the general vibe is religious hostility

I had to read "Who's Afraid of Gender" by Judith Butler to see it. Happy I read it

AGREE! It's just the US and their handshake where their hand wants to be on-top and other nations underneath. We say "yes yes"

And nuclear energy is a trap. If we start recycling the waste, we become a nuclear weapons state with easy access to weapons grade plutonium.... for who? what end?
